I am a tenant: what are my obligations?

Renting an apartment implies respecting certain legal obligations towards the owner. Here is a brief reminder:

• Paying the rent
• Pay the charges associated with the rent
• Paying electricity charges
• Taking out insurance
• Respect the use of the premises as a home, do not sublet the property
• Repair the damage to the dwelling for which you are responsible
• Take care of minor repairs and routine maintenance of the apartment and report any technical anomalies (various breakdowns, leaks, breakage ....) to the apartment manager.
